Virtual Student Art Show

  • Throughout the year (October through March) every student in third through sixth grade photographed their own art at the conclusion of a project, uploaded it to the platform Artsonia, and wrote an artist statement that reflected on their learning. There were, unfortunately, numerous works that did not get photographed due to the shortening of the year. However, this show features every student multiple times, an opportunity that they may not have gotten if we had a physical show due to space limitations. All photographed work that the students had completed throughout the year are featured within the galleries.

If you go to the PDF or the Google Slide presentation, each gallery for each assignment can be accessed by clicking on the easels labeled with the project names. The platform used to create these galleries (ArtSteps) functions best on Google Chrome or on a mobile device using the Artsteps app. You may click on each work of art to see the artist's name, and galleries may be observed by clicking on the footprint seen ahead of your viewpoint, or by clicking on the map in the lower left hand corner to navigate each individual space.

Thank you Ms. Harvey for creating this virtual student art show! Click on the file below to view the fantastic art word our students completed!
